The honesty bar in the lounge stocked a great selection of beverages, including local cider and wines, which added a welcoming touch to the atmosphere. Breakfast featured locally sourced produce, including homemade marmalade, giving it a personal, unique flavor that stood out during the stay.
The standard double room felt cramped, particularly with lower head clearance in some areas, which made it uncomfortable during a particularly warm week. This could be an issue for those who prefer more space, especially if you’re used to a larger room for a getaway. encounters with the bathroom revealed limited space that may not suit everyone's needs, as it was tight and not as comfortable as anticipated.

I had a lovely time at this charming property, especially enjoying the delicious slice of gingerbread cake left in my room and the comfy en-suite with a nice hot shower. The honesty bar in the cozy living room and a beautiful garden area to relax made the stay even better. Honestly, I wished the WiFi was a bit stronger, but it didn't take away from my experience at all—definitely a spot I recommend! 🍰

Lovely hosts and cozy vibes
Had a fab 2 nights in a double room. The hosts were super friendly and really cared about making us feel at home. Breakfast was on point—perfectly cooked! The maps for walking were handy too. Just wish there were more dining options nearby, but we found a nice café a bit down the road.

The culinary adventure started with delightful hot and cold sandwiches that had my taste buds dancing! The breakfast was a winner, featuring a zesty cooked number and a granola that could make your morning brighter. The owners were genuinely helpful, going the extra mile to assist when I mislaid my phone—totally appreciated!
Now, while the room had a bit of a cozy charm, it did come with some quirks—like smelly towels that had me wondering if I was wearing fabric conditioner! The attic space felt a tad tight, and the bathroom was more compact than expected, which put a wee bit of a damper on the experience.
